Warner Bros has released the first set of character photos on the official web. Very,very cool..
Edward Blake / The Comedian played by (Javier Bardem lookalike) Jeffrey Dean Morgan (Grey's Anatomy, Supernatural).
Dan Dreiberg / Nite Owl played by Patrick Wilson (Little Children, Hard Candy).
Adrian Veidt / Ozymandias played by Matthew Goode (The Lookout, Match Point).
Walter Kovacs / Rorschach played by Jackie Earle Haley (Little Children, All The Kings Men).
Laurie Juspeczyk / Silk Spectre II played by Malin Ackerman (The Heartbreak Kid).Only one question though.. Where is the photo for Sally Jupiter AKA Silk Spectre I ?

No, Fadz, aku just wonder. Lepas Batman & Robin's fiasco, mcm mana filmmakers boleh nk letak lagi nipple kat costume superhero rupa ni? But I dunnolah, mungkin jugak ni some kind of metafiction towards karakter Ozymandias tu*.
And as for Silk Spectre, the costume looks almost exactly mcm dlm komik, aku just kagum how they managed to pull it off.

Yes, I do own the novel. That's why I'm excited about the movie. And Silk Spectre costume exactly mcm dlm komik? Hmm.. I beg to differ. Maybe the color, but dlm filem dia pakai catsuit dan nampak sexier. Tapi Nite Owl is a big improvement.. He does look a bit pudgy, and funny in the novel.

The Heroes graphic novels yang aku download every week is quite good actually. Tapi kalau dikira dari segi content dan literature, aku rasa tak ada yang boleh lawan dgn Watchmen. The writing and storytelling was excellent.
Aku ada terbaca art director film Watchmen cakap, yang dia rasa kerja dia dalam Watchmen could be the 21st century Blade Runner. Exciting. Only time will tell..
